two years and counting...

She has grown so fast. I just cant believe how time is so quick. It was just like yesterday ive given birth and now shes sooo big that shes turning out bigger than me in a little while. and how i love her more and more. Shes so talkative and really is curious of everything. questions like what is this, mom, what is that? whos is there? where is who? full of questions and wonders. ;) They say little children are very good imitators and oh yes this is really true, i have to be very careful with my every words i speak because she just can get those words and never ever even forget them. those expressions bad or good well i really have to get rid of them and rather watch my mouth so often. ;)) But i am very happy and soo glad that she is so smart. Imagine just 2 years old she is and able to sing her ABC's.. very funny and exciting how she is growing more and more and everyday she really is our little angel. my very little angel who keeps my heart smiling every single day.. How i thank God so much for keeping her growing healthy...

my baby's POTTY training ;-)

She is now 22 months old. Her granny (my mother in law) has always been reminding and forcing me to leave Adri without a diaper at all and trained her to sit on a potty since her 1 year. I didnt really like that idea because Adri was really just too young to such but i did try it then. But so to my expectation, it wasn't a success. Se was TOO YOUNG for it, really really young. She just couldnt control her calling yet. And i really couldnt stand her crying everytime i took off her diaper and let her sit on that potty. So i just stopped and waited, given her time and now i think since she's nearing 2 years i thought about doing it agin this time.. Yes, its better now. She cooperates with me, no more crying, if i tell her to put down her panty and sit on her potty she would obey me. In fact she would do it alone. I can see her really trying her best although it isn't perfect.. I need to always remind her "hey, sweetie time to go POTTY" ;-) she would come and follow me but if i dont tell her and guide her to where her potty is, she's gonna do wee wee directly in her panty whenever and wherever she is. i really have to check her as often as possible especially after meals, before sleeping, after waking up, and as much as possible during the day every single hour check and remind her about it. If she doesnt go "wee wee" right then so i just give her time and try it again a few minutes later and again back to trying until shes gonna make it. Really i must tell that this thing requires me a a bundle of patience to get along. ;-)Its 2 weeks now from the time i started training her.. She's doing quite well. for the meantime i still leave her with a diaper only at night. And when she wakes up in the morning,, right then i take off her diaper telling her "honey, time to go wee wee" heading to where her potty is placed.
